CD deck doesn't remember programmed stations

I have a sony xplod CD deck in my 89 LX and every time I turn on the car, it spits the CD out and also doesn't remember any of the programmed stations that I put in. When I bought the car it was doing this. Any suggestions on what it could be would be great. Thanks in advance

Sounds like the wire which powers the radio's memory (Constant 12v even when the car is off) is either not wired to CONSTANT 12v or a fuse is blown. Check fuse box first but the radio may have either an inline fuse holder behind the radio or a plug in fuse in the back of the radio itself.

I can't remember the stations either, so don't be too hard on your radio.
