Hey, I was offered all the components from a Mach 460 stereo system, and I need to know, how good is it, and what are the speaker dimensions???

I have the mach system and it sounds pretty good. The system comes with 4 built in amps( 2 under your dash and 2 in the rear where the speakers sit). 6x8 in the front doors, 2 1/2 tweeters in the corner of the windows, and 6x8's in the rear deck. I know it would be a whole lot of work converting your system. If your going to spend all that time wiring every thing you might as well go out and get new speakers that are better. Mine are starting to crackle and the low end distorts a lot in the front too. I just got a new head unit installed yesterday that puts out 52 watts per channel, and now the speakers really sound like sh**. If I turn it half way up they start popping and hissing. Really you need to look at a car with the system and one without and see all the work it will take. Also have the speakers been abused over the years or are the in good shape? I really abuse mine It's a good sound system and if your getting it cheap, it's probably a good choice.

Where exactly are the amps in the front located??

thought it comes with 3 amps? 1 under center center console (under head unit) and 2 in the trunk.. oh well, mach460 sounds pretty sweet for me. friends always ask me where the bass is coming from, knowing that all i have is that stock mach460 and alpine deck (60x4)

yeah that makes sense...man i wish i could get my mach460 back together...thats alota work though....cheap0 14.99 kragen deck+2 300w bazookas+stock speakers= TJstyle...but it should work...lol
