Default Couple amp questions

I have 2 of these subs.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1099396539135

Would this amp power them well?
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/2759

My next question is whats better? To run the subs at 4ohms, 2ohms, or 1ohm? and what does lowering the ohms do? Ive always ran my subs at 4ohms.

Last but now least im open to suggestions on amps. Any amps you guys can think of $200 or less? Would a mono amp be better? Thanks for any help.

That amp should work great for both amps. Wire each channel up in a 2ohm load to get the 1000watts/channel. Should get the most out of both your amp and subs that way!

Just a thought, make sure you wire it up with 0/1 awg! That is alot of power going to the trunk!

power acoustic, heard bad things about them I woudlnt but too much power to them, and 4 should be enough power for the single amp. If you are going to add a second then loow at 2ga. if your running over 3000watts then look at going bigger. Run those subs at 2ohm bridged off the one amp.

Thumbs up

Those Subs are not bad at all!! I have 3 of them in my car each @ 2 ohms getting 1000 watts each and everyone whos been in my cars and heard my setup pound has said i have the loudest cleanest sounding system they ever heard before!!! i do all my own installin and customizing of boxes and everything!!! but dont bridge both subs together to that amp in parallel configuration... that amp is only 2ohm stable and by wiring the 4 ohm DVC subs in parallel drops each sub to 2 ohm and if u were to bridge them together the ohms would be reduced to a 1 ohm load which would burn up your amp!!! best way to wire them subs with that amp is to just wire the each subs VC's in parallel and connect to the amp on seperate channels (one sub per channel)!!!

I myself have been very pleased by the performance of these subs... ive had them for over 2 years now and they are still hittin hard as ever!!! good luck
