I have been looking for an ipod adaptor for an 06 mustang. Has anyone used Brand Motion's ipod system? I have read that some of the adaptors can cause problems with the ECU. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks
I use the BrandMotion adapter. It works ok and I've never had any problems my ECU.
The sound quality is exceptional and I like that it displays on my Shaker 500. It also integrates well with my factory Sirius receiver (which also displays on the Shaker 500). I ran the iPod connector cable to my glove box but it's long enough to also run to your center console compartment if you'd like.
Downside is the slooooooow display scroll. It's kind of quirky too: sometimes it will start right back on the song or playlist where I left it when I parked the car for the day or overnight while other times the display restarts at the beginning of my playlists. Kind of frustrating.
