i have a 02 GT convertible, are there any custom boxes for our cars? i went to a local radio installer and they want 175.00 to build a custom box, are there any sites i can order a box from?? also is that a fair price?

just check out ebay and look for the shortest box available for your choice size subs. I have a 94 gt conv. with two 12's in the trunk facing the rear of the car , had to sacrifice the spare tire though. I still have plenty of trunk space as well, but it is a pain to get a box for 2 subs in the trunk, but worthwhile in the end. Anything is possible because nothing is impossible.

$175 For a custom box......Well if its made of a good quality medium density fiber board then go for it. Now remember you have a conv. Bass is going to be really hard to get. Your trunk is going to be the only place for compression (and might I add i bet is REALLY REALLY small) which is what makes BIG BASS. Infinity makes a GREAT subwoofer set up and it comes w/ an AMP connected to it. All you need to make it work is power and some RCA cables. Good luck.
