Default Swap wiring?

Heya. I'm swapping a 2.3 to a 5.0, and I'm working on the wiring...Gunna paitn the compartment, so I hafta pull everything out. Now, should I just pull everything out, take out ALL the wire from the dash to the engine compartment and wire them directly with only what I need (Starting/ignition, charging and lights) or should I keep the wires in the compartment because they're handy for something tricky?

are you doing a carbed 5.0? i would just pull it if thats the case. well, either way your going to have to change out your ecu. so the harness probably wont be good for anything.

fyi, you will have to gut the inside of the car as well as the dash to get all the wiring. Carbed 5.0 or 5.8 would be real sick
