2000 Ford Mustang Audio Question

Hi,

I have a 2000 Ford Mustang and need a new Amp. Where is the amp located in my vehicle?

I tak it you have the Mach Audio upgrade....Im not sure, becuase I havent delt with that audio system. It may either be in the trunk, under the pasender seat or anywhere in between.

Possibly under the rear deck.

If you have the Mach460, the amp for the tweeters is behind the radio, and the 2 amps for the 5x7's is located on the surrounds in the trunk..... Are you having problems with it? It is basically the same for the Mach1000 except there are 2 more amps in the trunk for the subs.

With the 2005+ Mustangs (Shaker 500 / 100) the door subs are located in the drivers side kick panel. WIth the 1000 I think there is one in the trunk as well.
