About a week ago i installed PIE FRD04-AUX in my roommate's GT, and it works great except you have to fiddle with the ipod when you drive-- yesterday he went to the
site where he made the purchase to find that there is a brand new ipod adapter (interface or whatever) that allows control and display of ipod text on the radio and it is completely plug and play-- which means no searching or splicing the 12V wire. Anyway, i know this part is new (at least on this site) but has anyone heard, installed, or used this part? The
manual is elaborate but nothing beats word of mouth or personal experience.
I'm interested because my girl has an FM modulator in her Fusion and this solution will allow her to keep her eyes on the road
My FRD04-AUX is now absolute
