high pitch noise

when i step on the gas i can hear barely hear this high pitched sound as the rpms go up. i took out my 460 system and put in a new deck, 4 5x7's 4 6x9's, 4 tweeters, 2 12's, 2 amps any suggestions on what it might be?

ground loop. did you route the power and rca wires on the same side of the car? if so move the rca to the other side. you could also get a ground loop isolater for the amp/amps the sound is coming from.

aye aye but the only problem is im system illiterate hehe and had it installed so shoudl i just bring it to a place and tell them what u told me?

Definitely take it back and tell them to fix it. They may have cut the cables to exactly the right fit so they would need to reroute or install more cabling. I always went with larger cables than what was spec'd from the manufacturer so I wouldn't have that problem. Sometimes you get that in cars, sometimes you don't.....

when i posted this trhead i stated what i have for a system i woudl liek to add a dvd player to it and a screen how much do you think it would cost for a dvd player and say a 10x10 screen or possibly 12x12

You would have to shop online or go to the local shop that is going to fix your wiring. There are a million places out there to find what you're looking for, just take your time. Ebay is a good place to start. There are some reputable dealers out there looking to get rid of their stuff for alot less. Just be careful and read the feedbacks. Also see how many feedbacks there are. Tom

thank you very much for your assistance i will definitely look on ebay. I have ordered stuff off there before so i have a paypal accoutn already set up hopefully it wont be to pricey. If I just so happened and buy the stuff off ebay can i take it to a place to have it installed

Most shops usually want you to buy their equipment. Forget about the big stores, they won't even talk to you if you don't buy it from them. However, some of the local "small guys" may do it for you. If the first place did your wiring correctly, then the swap out should be a piece of cake to do. Just take your time......

well, a little advice. i install tons of these systems, i own a shop, 10" is huge and if not placed far enough forward...it will cause headaches. i only use large screens in long vehicles...yukons, suburbans..but even then the first row is stll kind of close.
make sure your headliner will allow you to push it as far forward as possible.
dvds go for 100-200$ and screens that size are around 400$
