Hey has any one swaped headunits from the standard cd cassette to the mach 460 6 disk cd player? If so was it a plug and play kind of thing? or will it take alot of work?

They won't match up. The Mach460/1k have separate amps while the standard does not have compatible plugs. It would be cheaper to buy aftermarket stereos and/or amps with what you have. You have one thing going for you, you have the basic system without all the wiring hassles of the 460 or 1000. There are good deals on Ebay right now. I bought an Audiobahn system for my Son's Jeep for Xmas for $139.99 which included headunit, speakers, amp and sub......
