So this may be a stupid question but I've got a 06' V6 mustang with the most basic sound system in it. I was wondering if it was possible to some how put in a shaker 1000 system?

It is better to go aftermarket with your audio system from here. It will be cheaper and sound better unless you go with a system someone pulled out of their car on ebay. But even then it's no bargain. The systems are good, don't get me wrong, but there is better out there for the price. How much was the option for the 1000? I believe it was $1200.00 on my car back in '01. My Mach 460 was $595.00.

BTW, it's not a stupid question.....
