I had a buddy of mine try and install my deck and amps, he is a professional, but he told me it was the wrong wiring kit. It is a premium sound system, since the 3.8's never came with the Mach 460. Anyways, it has the 2 units, 1 for CD and 1 for Tape/Head unit. We could hook up one part of the harness, but the other part did not work. I was wondering what part I need to install the other one. If this makes any sense at all.

Sorry to contradict your friend, but I drive a 2000 Stang (3.8) and it came off the lot with a Mach460 sound system installed in it.
