Default Speakers no longer working

My 95 gt vert has been sitting all winter. I didnt have any head unit in the car while it was sleeping so.... I just put in a Pioneer HU. Now here is what happens. The cd player powers up but no audio comes through the speakers. I took another boston acoustic speaker hooked it straight off the head unit. Audio would only come through that speaker and not the others.

So, my question is. Should I just rewire all the speakers? Or is there something simple I am missing like a fuse or something. I thought if it was a fuse the radio wouldnt even power up though.

Yeah, everything is connected. There are 2 harnesses for my mustang. The one contains the speaker wires. The other has power, ground, dimmer, and what not.

So, if it was the ground, i would think it wouldnt even power up like it does. I think I might just run new wires. It's more involved than I wanted but if thats what I got to do, so be it.

Did you figure the problem out yet? Where did you store your car? sometimes animals like to chew on wires never know man just lookin at all possibilities
Let me know how you make out! Rewiring would be a pain in the butt.
