Default Why did stereo stop working?

hey whats up guys. Well I'm having a problem with my car stereo. It was working fine a couple weeks ago until out of nowhere I was driving and it just stopped working. The screen still shows and everything but I hear no sound and it appears to be frozen. At the top of the screen it says INTERRUPT. I already tried messing with it but no results. anyone know what could be wrong?

you may want to see if there is a way to reset the stereo, or check and see if there are multiple fuses on the back of the stereo where one may be burnt. is this a factory radio or an aftermarket?

Try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery. That should clear any memory and presets. You might be screwed otherwise. Not a lot of intense troubleshooting involved with a/f HU's.
