Default need info on instaling cd player in 1998 mustang

My car got broken into about a week ago not only did they take my ac vents but they also took my cd player ... It is an after market one that came with the car when I bought it.. I'm trying to put a new one in to replace it but I have no idea what I'm doing to be honest I tried to have a guy friend of mine do it for me but he says he dosen't know anything about mustang radios.. I have no idea what gose where? Or if I have anything missing.. can any one help me with an explanation or direct me to a site that can explain what needs to be done or what wires may have been ripped out with the cd player? because the wires that are in there none of them seem to fit into the cd player there are about four different sets.. I'm so confused ???? someone please help!
thanks
Jayme

Here, check this file out and see if it helps. It's a pdf of standard radio installations on 1994-1999 Mustangs.

Sorry about you radio getting stolen. My GF just got her whole car stolen...
