My Clicker isnt working I put in a new battery and still nothing, Someone told me it has to be taken back to the dealership for activaton. Only problem is that i bought it from a private owner. Any suggestions?

Put the key in the ignition and go from acc to ignition on, but not to cranking mode 8 times back and fourth until the locks go up and down automatically in the ignition on position on the last turn, then push all 4 of the buttons to program the remote u will know if it is working because the locks will click as u push the buttons as the computer programs the remote, u can program up to 3 remotes on the system doing this process.

Would anyone happen to know if the the process the same with a 2005 mustang?
Also... if you do the process with the same remote 3 times will it push out all other programmed remotes?

Got an ex that keeps going in my car and stealing my stuff with their old FOB!

I remember this one. We had to do it on of of our cars.

I have a 2000 mustang. When using the kyless remote I can sound the honk of the alarm activating and i can pop open the trunk with but I cannot open the doors. It doesnt unlock them or lock them for the matter. you can see them trying to go up or down but it doesnt. So Im thinking this isnt the remotes problem its something to do with my locks but what?!! Can anyone help me pleasE?!!
