My problem is that while driving to work one day the bass just disappeared. all I get is mid and high. i checked all connections and fuses. heres the thing, when I go back to the deck sub woofers and unplug the harnesses, then plug them back in the bass returns, but only for a few minutes. any help would be appreciated.

I like the sound as it was, and I really don't want to replace the deck, it all operates fine, just no bass.

U are overdriving the amps and causing the amps to auto cutoff from the amp draw or temp. turn down the bass and they will not cut off. I threw out my entire 460 rewired it and took out the sub box and put in a set of 10's and it blows the factory setup away.
