Default Has anyone used this sub box in their 05+ Stang?

As the title implies, I was wondering if anyone has used this box in their 2005+ Stang. I currently have the box that sits in the recess on the passenger side (same spot as the subs for the Shaker 1K). I'm tired of it and want this new box. If anyone has used it before or is using it now, can you possibly tell me how much clearance there is between the back of the box and the rear seats? I want to mount my amps on the back of the box. Also, how high is the box in the rear. Same reason, amp mounting. Attached is a pic of the box.

Judging by the list of stuff you've already done to the car, looks like you're meticulous about things. With that in mind, I would suggest going to a reputable car audio shop in your area(SoCal has ALOT) and tell them what your goal is. With a car like yours, it would be best to have something designed for your car AND the subwoofer of your choice. It'll be a little more money, but you just can't beat the sound of a properly built enclosure with the correct amount of airspace and it will look better than just putting a prefab box back there with a rats nest of wires everywhere. Be true to your Stang just my 2 cents.

I do not recommend, nor do I install amps on boxes. Yes amps are made to take some abuse, but think about the little amp being rattled all to hell by the subwoofers. You have plenty of room under the read seats to create a false floor and mount them there if you want. Or the side panels in the trunk have some space behind them for a quick horizontal mount.
