I am wanting to put Sirius in my 2007 Mustang GT, yet keep the Shaker 1000 stereo that came with it. I have seen Sirius on some Mustangs and have heard there is a unit that will plug into the Shaker system, but have not been able to find it. No one seems to know anything about it locally. I have seen some supposed systems online that have been pieced together, but I am a little leery. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Contact the big box retailers, Best Buy, Curcuit City, or even Sirius themselves and get the final answer. I have instaled a few of these systems but they were without the upgraded stock stereo. Try to find one that plugs into your stereo and not one of those
"FM Transmitters" they are almost worthless.
