Default Mach 460 door speakers

Here is a question for ya to ponder, can a non 460 car have the upper door tweeters installed? I was wondering around ebay (shoot me) and saw several sets, was just wondering if it was possible. In a word, Yes or no.

Yes! I did this last week, I got the tweeter enclosures off e-bay ($15.00) and installed 120 watts pioneer tweeters, I had to cut the bottom of the enclosures with a dremell(use the cutting disk, it's easier!) because non Mach 460 door panels have that area covered up and then you just use 1 screw (the hole for the screw is already punched behind the side mirrors post) and wire the tweeter to the bottom speaker. I got 1, 5x7 150w 3way on each door,2 on the rear tray and 2 6x9 180w 3 way on the rear tray also, with the tweeters it sound amazing, so yes with a little ingenuity it can be done(only took me 2 hours).

LOL! I got them a couple of months ago, sometimes the tweeter comes with the crossover (it's inline), and it works great!
