Question Help With Bad Mach460 Head Unit!

The head unit on my 2001 GT has locked up just as many of you guys. It won't play, load, eject, or read...just says "Slots Full" and "CD Error". Can anyone help with ideas on how to fix this, other then then normal "buy a aftermarket headunit". I would like to keep the stock interior look, all-though the car is far from stock. Please help me with suggestions ASAP! Help is greatly needed from someone that knows what to do other then swap. I even got a new one from the junkyard and it does the same exact thing, but now it says "initializing" before crapping out.

Matt
