whats the deal with the false bottom cup holder thing???
It's for a larger cup to fit lower in the console for better support so it won't fly out. It's great what experience teaches us.

Huh? I read this and immediately went to my car to check this out, but can't find what you are talking about?

There's a little strap where the seat meets the seatback.

Shoots. Im still having problems with the local ford dealer saying that since I have 40k+ miles that my shaker 1000 is no longer covered and I HAVE to buy a new one. I even asked about TSB 05-6-9 and he said it only applies if its under warranty.... should I make a withdrawl from my army footlocker or what? any help works. but now Im off to check out the rds and seatbelt thingie. lol

You turn on the radio, and hold the menu button down for like 5-6 seconds. It should then give you a hidden option RDS on/off. Turn it on. From there, you can see the song artist/name on radio stations, and hidden text they broadcast. Also you can now search for station by type (rock, rap, country, etc.). you use the up and down buttons to change options.

WOW...not only did I not know this, but I just made a comment the other day that my Focus SVT does this and it would be nice if my Stang did it as well.....thanks....very cool.

I had to go look at mine when I read this, but didn't see anything that looked like it would work.
Can't see how the strap would hold the seatbelt without a lot of trouble each time you use it. I guess I'm just dense.

Please explain this one.

Very neat.. Thanks for sharing! I went through the dial and counted, and in our neck of the woods, only four stations (out of 20-25 or so) actually broadcast that info.

And, for the record, I had the car a year before I found out about the cupholder. Now, where's the "Passenger Eject" button?

Bought one of those from MGW Ltd. Cool replacement for the 12V cap between the other functions on the dash above the radio.

I knew about this. Most of you would also if you read the owners manual

I found my g/f's 05 focus had this same feature. She traded it in for an 07. Identical car besides the color, and the 07 does not have this feature.
Any 07 Mustangs have this feature working?

I heard a dude once, who said that if you hold the volume knob between your right index finger and thumb, then twist it clockwise, the radio will get louder. Tried it and it freakin' worked!
