Default 1994 mustang mach 460 no sound?

I have a 1994 mustang gt with the mach 460 sound system. The wiring harness is connected correctly and all of the dials work.. But there is no sound no matter how much I turn it up.. Im figuring that this might mean a blown amp? If it is the amp where would it be located?

did you try to alter the system in anyway? as in trying to add more speakers or amps? You should not alter this system in anyway. but if you did'nt i would suggest looking in your owners manual or online for a fuse pannel diagram for the engine and interior fuse boxes and replace the fuse for the head unit/radio w.e and if that is the problem, and it blows again you probably have a broken wire or a short somewere so look at the wires throughout the system to make sure theres no sparks and what not, and you may be able to figure this out

o yea im pretty sure on most radios the power/ground/accel wires are in a seperate adapter. and the grey/white/green/purple speaker wires are in a seperate adapter if the speakerwire adapter is disconnnected this would make it not play aswell
