Default Need Help with upgrading 2005 Stock Radio to Shaker 500 or Shaker 1000

Hello,

I am honestly getting confused the more threads I read about the Shaker 500 and the Shaker 1000. I need some help figuring out to upgrade to one of these.

I have a 2005 V6 Mustang with a Stock Radio. I have been doing some upgrades and have put in multiple parts from a GT (Leather Seats for example). I bought a Messag Center my color instrument panel from a guy out of his GT. I also bought his Shaker 500 Head Unit, the 6 speakers, the sirius component and I asked if he could send me the wires for everything as well. Well... he sent me the entire, huge, giant hunk of wires, for the entire dashboard, complete with radio harness, security sytem, 1 shaker 500 amp (Not sure if there is more than one), the buttons to control the instrument panel, and a myriad of other plugs that all go to God knows what. I also have bought a Shaker 1000 Head Unit and am considering buying the Shaker 1000 Subwoofer box and associated amps.

Now the tough question. How in God's green earth do I wire this stuff? Oh, I am also likely getting the door panels from the GT, so that I do not have to try to figure out how to install the 8" sub's in my non sub door panels. Anyway, back to the question. I bought a Haynes manual, on the car and it has jack and squat for my questions of how to wire this stuff. I need pictures. Or someone really, really good with words that I can picture it in my mind. Does my stock stereo wire harness already have the wires in advance for the 8" subs and the trunk subs? Will the mass of wiring from the GT that had the Shaker 500 have everything I need? Where do I put the sirius module? It is freakin huge. Where do I put the Shaker 500 amp? Where would I put the Shaker 1000 amps? Why does it look like the Stock, Shaker 500 and Shaker 1000 all use the same 25W speakers in the rear deck? I have seen two different models of the Shaker 500 speakers with the tweeter. One where they are side by side, and one where the tweeter is on top of the other (This is the version I have). There is some strange little clear box attached to the Shaker 500 wiring harness that says Schosche Loc-80. What the heck is that for?

These questions have probably been addressed before, but the more I read, the more I got confused. I am big on DIY and want to do this myself, but I need some assistance, since I cannot find accurate pictures/descriptions, of what I have, what I need and where things need to go.

I appreciate all of your help.

Thanks.
