Exclamation Stereo issues..no noise to any speakers?!?! Please help

ok..i'm putting a stereo into my mustang(1986) and we got it all plugged in but there is no noise coming from any of the speakers... i used 2 wires (for the same speaker) coming off the stereo and directly connected them to a spare speaker i had and it had some radio sounds come out of it but i had to crank it all the way up too here it....what is wrong wit it?? y is there no sound in any of my speakers???
guys i need your help again!!!

You have a factory amp behind the radio and it needs to be either rewired around it or get an aftermarket harness that bypasses it and it should work.

ah ok..i jus heard that but u jus confirmed it..thank u but could u jus get an aftermarket amp to replace that factory one

yeah u can do that. that would probably be the better way of doing it but you would also have to run the wire for amp plus the cost of the amp.
