Default 2002 Mustang Is there anyway to hook some subs and amp up to the stock head unit

i got an 02 mustang with the mach 460 sterio system in it and was wonderin if there was anyway to hook some subs and amp up to the stock head unit cause i want to keep my dashboard 6 disc changer...any ideas?

i heard you can hook up to the amps high input and run wire from there to the antenna wire in the back of the head unit...this true and if so how?

any clue how i can hook an amp to my stock head unite for my subs? i heard that you can run wire from the antenna wire to the high imput on the amp and if so how? by the way it's a mach 460 sterio system.

You can get an RCA converter and then you can tap into the rear speaker wires. It's real easy. With this you just splice into the 2 original wires going to the speakers and then you plug the rca"s from the converter into your amp.There is no need to get behind the radio. You can buy it at radio shack for $25 .For the amp Run a power line to the battery,run the remote wire to the fuse panel and find a good ground.

now will that hookup mess with any of the wires or the sound quality

No, the bass might not be as crisp ,but it really isn't noticable
