Default Custom Autosound Installation help needed, 1968 Mustang

I have just hooked up my Custom Autosound USA-2 Radio in my 68 Mustang. I followed the instructions to a t and no sound comes out. The Radio dial lights up but no sound out of speakers. Double cheked all connections and color coded wires everything goes where they're suppose to. Speakers and radio are brand new. Maybe not enough power going to radio, I don't know. Anybody have any suggestions?

hmm....make sure there is something to listen to? May sound wierd but alot of people hook something up and then forget to change it to a sation or put a cd, tape or even 8 track in. Pull the Head Unit and look behind it, make sure everything is still conected and the connections are good. Same at the speaker level. All else fails, return the head unit

Yes try a cd or whatever it plays if it still don't work and your wires are right call the company that made it.

I tried using an mp3 player and still no sound. The radio dial light seems to stay on it doesn't want to power on & off and also my turn signal light stays solid not blinking.

Default Sounds like typical Custom Autosound to me.......

I would call them and see how to check the unit - they don't have a great track record.
I wouldn't waste too much time working around it, see if they can tell you how to verify that the unit is hooked up correctly and see if they are willing to exchange it if it doesn't work.

Good luck - you'll need it.

Or ebay it and buy a din size bezel and use a din size radio.

Get that car over to your local car audio shop... PRONTO. have them check out your wiring. Most shops will look at it for free, but you will more than likely have to pay them for a re-install. Don't send anything back without having it checked out first.

Turned out the Radio is fine. There was a cut in the speaker wire under the door sill plate that was causing the problem.
Now to figure out the turn signal problem.
