Default 1997 Mustang stereo replacement?

I have a 1997 Mustang with the stock stereo. This is the one with 2 separate areas, one for the am/fm and cassette and the other for the CD player. Since most after market stereo systems are setup in a single spot, I don't know what is available for my car. I want something that makes it easy to play my ipod. Is there anything designed to fit the stereo setup in this model mustang? Or is there something that looks nice in this model? I DON'T want to just replace one area and leave an extra nonoperational cd player, I think that'll look stupid. If you have this or a similar year Mustang and have any advice, please let me know. If you have pics, that'd be awesome.

Thanks.
