Has anyone managed to run wires from the inside of the car into the door and could lend me some advice? The guy from Tweeter just called me and said even he couldn't do it and that he wants to use the factory wires.

I've managed to get one pair through but need to get two pairs for component speakers.

Please, no speculation -- I've tried and tried and tried. I'd only like to hear from people who have managed to do this themselves.

Do you know what the wires do after they enter the car? I feel like they make a 90 degree bend and go straight down through some kind of hard plastic guide, or plug. Maybe another wiring harness?

Well, this is kind of discouraging. I just ordered 2 pair of Infinity Kappa 682.7cf, and I know their outboard crossover is going to be tricky for the door installations.

Sadly, in the past, when installations were a royal PITA like what you are going through, I just used the existing factory wires. Sorry I can't help you right now, but I will know more two weeks from now when I have time to mess with installing my yet to arrive Infinitys.
