My 2006 Mustang GT doesnt have that audio plug in in the middle console.. I want to buy something that i can take apart my shaker 500, hardwire my ipod into it, close it back up and have it laying in my Glovebox.. I want a kit that lets me plug in my ipod and i get to control EVERYthing on my actual headunit... Does anyone know where to find this, or anybody that has one.. let me know if its worth the money..? Does it have the same quality that it has on your actual ipod? It wont get distorted right?

I forget the name, but everyone I know that has one kinda gets annoyed because you can't actually pick the songs, you can only hit "next"

I've got this from Peripheral but it's made a few people's dash go crazy - mine included. Mine controls the ipod through the HU (search by playlist etc) but they seem to have removed this feature now and taken the Mustang of the compatible list. Do a search for "ipod" on here and you'll see the problems people have had. Good sound quality mind.

They now do a new one with ipod control but I'm holding fire until I see if it has any problems. Have a look at the "PXAMG" specs.

According to the website and the "application matrix" that comes with the product info, this does not work with the shaker 500 6cd radio. or did i misunderstand?
