2002 Mustang 2 Door Coupe Alarm System - How to disable?

The factory-installed alarm system has started to go off intermittently, for no reason. This seems to occur mostly in the wee hours of the morning as the thermometer hit its lows. To keep peace with the neighbors and until I can take the time to test and repair it, I want to just disable it. Any suggestions?

I am not sure if the door lock has sensors to see if the doors are locked manually or not.

You might want to try unlocking both doors with the key fob and then while the door is still open push down the locks by hand and then close the door.

thanks...I'll try this over the next few days. As the problem is intermittent, it may take a while to see if it works.

Any body know how to just disconnect the alarm so that I'm certain it won't go off?

le'me'no...
