I thaught I drive the
Stang to work the other day when I just got on the M80(freeway) when the dash & tail lights died followed shortly by the headlights flashing on and off before failing completely.The nature of this site prevents me from repeating what I said but it sufficiant to say I was NOT happy.
I pulled over a the emergancy phone and was told I would be a priority and a tilt tray would be there in a few minuites ......half an hour or so later I was getting pretty bored and no happier so I decieded to look at the problem after rifling through the glovebox and consol I found the wiring diagram and a test lamp so I checked the fuses all ok and for some reason I decieded to look in the boot(trunk) God knows why as I wasn't feeling very rational at this stage I looked at the lh tailinght wiring to my surprise I found a "spare " plug that didnt recall being there and after some groping around I found another and conected them hoping like hell that they belonged

BINGO I had lights again a little over an hour later. I'd hate to think how long you'd have to wait if you were not a priority as I saw no sign of the tilt tray any way I finally go to work about an hour late.
