hows it going people!
well, my name is Jonathan Mendoza, i write you guys from the mexico city.
the thing is like this, i was in Australia for business purposes during a while and i met this real hot Australian-Portuguese girl and oh well, we fall in love, she came to Mexico for a while with me then and we decided to marry.
after long talks we decided that i was moving to Adelaide with her, a hard choice but what can you do for the girl you love?
so, i guess I am going to Australia to live, we will live in Adelaide where her family lives and soon to open my business over there.
the thing is that i don't wanna sell my loved 2005 mustang gt, I am gonna sell my other cars but not my mustang unless i have to and there was no other option. therefore i was thinking to take my car with me to california and ship it from there to australia, so, I want to know what are the costs of taking the car with me from the united states to adelaide australia, what things do i need and as you people know, my car´s steering wheel is opposite to the cars in Australia...can i still import it? or will i need to do a LHD to RHD conversion to the stang? or what options do i have?

hey man
im from Australia, NSW so a complete different state, so there for problably a complete different set of rules but i own a 66 and it was only imported last september and its LHD. theres no laws in NSW that it needs to be RHD. Only thing here is if it was manufactured after August 1972 you need a engineers cert.

try googling South Australian transport authorities, there might be something there.
