Cool ! There's hope yet !

Thanks everyone for ya support and warm wishes.

I'm happy to say that I have found a replacement window. (A guy here had a '96 GT that he was parting out.) I am having it installed today so my pony should be back on the road terrorising the streets of OZ just like a good American Muscle Car should...... :thumbsup

OZ I'm happy to hear you found a replacement driver side window
for your pony right on..it's even from my same year of stang !
What kind of stereo deck are you going to get OZ? I'd look into
a security alarm also just for your pony's protection!

Actually, it only takes 1 milliamp to stop the heart. But just because the voltage is high doesn't mean the amperage is high. It all depends on the amount of resistance (Ohms). I wish I could remeber the equation for voltage/amperage/resistance.

Depends on which year. For '64 to 70's not a problem. There are lost of them here. For 84 to '03, they are very rare and hard to find parts for. (Ford Australia never released the Mustang here)

My car has a 3 phase black wire engine immobilizer. It dosen't have an alarm though.... I always thought they were a waste of time. No one takes any notice of them here anyway

They couldn't have been native Austrailians, they broke the wrong window.

Sorry for the poor joke, just trying to be the comic relief. Hope everything turns out alright.
