Sorry to hear that. At least they didn't hack the top, as usually happens to vert's.

well, at least they stole it nicely. You're lucky they didn't bust up the dash just to be punks. Sorry to hear that happened. I had my old car, not my 'stang, broken into and had my cd player stolen too. They also took my guitar amp, and my cigs. luckily my cd's were in the house I was at or I would have been really, really upset. But hey, push comes to shove, you can get a nicer head unit for the money you paid for that one! Just remember, there's always a positive to every negative!

dawn bastards is right! I'm sorry to hear that OZ that sucks people
are that cold-hearted down under! I thought it was different down
under but,I guess I was wrong.Doesn't your insurance cover stole
property? Do you have full coverage OZ? I think if you have the
proof of purchase don't your insurance company honor that? I
would surely make them pay and wait for them with my Louisville
but, that's just the justice I would serve to teach those punk(s)
too break people's windows and steal there stereo deck's that
just wrong! I wonderfull what the police down under would have
too say about there ruthlessness?

Thanks for your support everyone It's nice to know you are all here for me.

I took the car to the Police station and they dusted it for finger prints. They got a few good ones too !

As for claiming the damage on insurance, its really not worth it. I have an excess of $400 and its only gunna cost about $500 for the window. The CD player will only be a few hundred too. Its not worth it.....

The hardest part is finding a drivers side (passenger for me !) window here in Oz !

That's the least we can do OZ ! I sure hope thoses theiving
fool(s) get caught for the unmeaningfull crime they commited
against a fellow mustang owner! I'm happy just maybe thoses
finger prints will match the criminals that did the crime other than
that I'm happy to hear you are able to replace your CD deck with
a better one and fix that poor broken drivers side window !
The best of luck too ya OZ!

I just hope they electrocute themselves trying to install the CD player in their car (and yes I do know it is only 12 volts )

Exclamation

maybe they will electrocute themselves! I thought your
CD deck looked nice I just mean that you can get a better one
than you had but,LOL I know that window will not be eazy to
fined but,if I do happen to find one for cheap I will keep a eye
out for you.OZ can't you fined a used window possibly? I know
a new driver side window will be at the most possibly 500.00 .
Check around though maybe you can fined a good glass shop
down under you never know!

ha i dont believe in that after somene thought it was funny to throw 2 cynderbricks through my ttops and door windows, nothing was stolen whoever did it just wanted to destroy my stang, and since they destroyed the tops and windows it also destroyed the weather striping and scratched up the interior badly, it was a mess. but then i threw my brothers 85 Camaro out of my garage and now i keep my stang in there now lol

Just before the light turned green the little ******* pointed to the NOS sicker on his machine and left a plasic patch that lasted about 100ft. I didn't stand a chance, I was smoked. He rasied his fist in victory and when home for milk and cookies, I just went to the track.
