Im looking at purchasing a classics mustang, probably a 1965 model. I was wondering whether you can get hydraulics systems in victoria, the latino styles that give the vehicle bounce im lookin for. Ive heard rumours about them being illegal but i guess im still wonderin.
If you run straight rams, I belive it has to be engineered. I have seen some places advertising them a while ago here in Oz, and I think it was Super Plus. They were quite expensive ! The price goes up depending on howm many tanks you have per pump. Maybe check Parts Peddler Magazine ???
There was a Chev at Picnic @ Hanging Rock car show that had hydraulic's. They might be at the All American Car Show next month ???
I think you would be far better importing a kit form the US. Especially with the strength of the dollar.
Maybe try contacting : Red's Hydraulics (They have an online catalogue with prices)

Thanks heaps for that man. I checked out the Red's site to get a feel for the prices. So I take it that its not illegal...At least I hope so. Im definately giving importing parts if not the whole 1965 Mustang itself. I know of a couple of guys that do imports, but I guess the more people the better.
Im sure ill end up making my way to the car show as well, thanks again.

Dam John.... Your logical way of thinking takes the fun out of everything

I hear ya OzPony...yet logic has rarely been a key decision maker in my life. hmmm, it might seem odd but what kind of body work are we looking at to stabilize the Mustang in bouncing motion, or will I simply have the pleasure of lowering it when I turn it off, no bouncing
I live in the land of hydrolics, and I have seen 3 inch square steel reinforcements under cars like a 63 impala, and those have a full frame. bouncing will kill ANY car
