Speaker system in 65 Convertible

Hi Guys,

At the Picnic at Hanging Rock, I spotted a blue 65 GT Convertible (with blue/white pony trim) parked away from the Mustang Club. It was over the creek towards the Monaros (ugh!).

Just wondering if anyone knows the owner ... what I particularly liked was that it had a great speaker system made to fit in the corners of the back seat base/backrest. The two small speakers were in a "cone" shape covered in blue vinyl. It was a really neat job.

I am hoping to do something similar ... leave the origional 8 track in place and install a remote Pioneer CD/MP3 in the glove box. I have ordered a dash speaker from Mustangs of Melbourne (to replace the existing paper one) but was really impressed with what this guy had done as far as rear speakers go.

Anyone know of the car or owner?

Nah ...went back 3 times to see if the owner was about no-one around ... took the camera the last time but the car was gone!! The guy from Mustangs of Melbourne (not Steve) did not know the car either.

If you have the number plate you could ask the MOCA club sceretary Noel if the car is registered with the club. Maybe he could pass on your contact details ???
