hi everyone
i have reecently aquired a 1976 mustang cobra 2 its a great little car but is in need of some TLC its body is in good shape with no rust but there are plenty of thing which need replacing. i was wondering if anyone knew of anyone selling parts prefferably in newzealand, such as full peformance/standard exaust system, grill, front lower skirts, carpet kits, front suspension parts ect.
i would be most grateful if anyone could hepl thanks

Nice find! With modern engine upgrades those old 'stangs make great sleepers as they are so light.

Most of the members here are either Aussies or Americans. The site Fordfoums.com is an Aussie site that has a very active community and might be the key to finding your parts down yonder...

You should contact the New Zealand Mustang Owners Club first. I have spoken with a few guys from NZ and they are very cool. They will help you source your parts and put you in contact with importers that can help you out.

Wal has listed some parts suppliers that may be able to help.Mustangsunlimited in the states have a pretty good range of mustang II items as well if you don't mind the freight charges.. i have a 78 t - top cobraII to restore so let me know if you have any luck. cheers .
