Default Convertible update

Well about time I updated the progress of our retoration. Mon 9th we trailered the convertible over to Matamata Panelworks to have the new floor, Chassie rails, trunk floor, toque box (left & right), inner rocker rails, rear quarters and inner fender panel put in estimated 300 hours. These guys specialize in Mustang reto work, they had 11 Mustangs in the shop in different stages of repair also had 3 car in the paint shop and 2 being assembled. Intersesting that out of the 11 in the workshop 5 were rusty convertible, "what dose that tell you".
Mean while we are pulling down the motor and front end to recondition and at this stage I start singing " What kind of Fool am I" however it's something I want to do so in a years time I will be cruising down the motorway with the wind in my hair (if I have any left).
Will keep you all informed as we go.

The reason you see so many mustang owners crusing around in base ball caps must be related to the restoration process

I look foward to your updates you can post pictures to your gallery
