Default 2006 Mustang GT Price Questions.

Okay, well I've been looking around a bit, and I found an 06 GT, with 19000kms on it, and registration. The interior is leather.

http://www.australianmusclecarsales....?node_id=77564

price tag: $95000

Is it worth it?

it is really rich for me too lol! but would that price be worth it, the American members I've spoken to say its overpriced, (because the exchange rate makes it $74k US.) So I'm really into getting it, but the price is just HUUUGE!

well apparently, they are worth anything from $20-35k in the US. I think I'm just going to give this one a miss.

Default 07 GT prizes

You cannot buy and bring into the country a new GT unless it is a private import. Noone will give you a compliance in Australia.
SO if you decide to bring a car as a private import here is the breakdown of the price for 07 Mustang GT:
Well opioned car, 18" wheels, leather etc, GT appearance pack etc. - $35.000 US (AU$45000).
You have to insure it for 1 year and register it (total US$2000.00 - AU$2500.00). Shipping to Australia and all necessary paperwork - $AU4000.00. GST and tax - about AU$10.000. Conversion to the RHD
- don't think can get a good one for under AU$30000.
So:
AU45K + AU$2.5K + AU$4K + AU$10K + AU$30K = AU$91.500
And this price is just to break even!!! This is still better than AU$135K that most of Australian authorized importers are asking.
So anythink around AU$100K for a 07GT new or even 06 GT is a great price.

Default Sell you my 2005 GT

I have a BLACK/BLACK 2005 Mustang GT with lots of extras including a K&N Air Charger (extra 18HP), Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust (extra 25HP), Tinted Windows, 20" Chrome Wheels, Starter Button, Colgan Crabon Fiber Style Car Bra and Sequential Tail Lights. It has a cloth Interior. It is IMMACULATE with 22,000 'babied' miles. I have photos if you wish to see.

I am also an Australian living in Los Angeles and would consider selling you my car landed in Melbourne for US$55,000. You would be responsible for any duties, taxes and conversion costs once it arrives.

If you have a car dealer friend who might lend you dealer plates you can drive it LHD for a while.

Just a thought.

Cheers

J
