Yeah i cant wait to hear it either ive missed that rumble, April last year??
Whats left to do,
1;

2;
Seven pistons, Sump, Sandwich plate, Flywheel, Timing cover, Timing cover, Water Pump, Alternator, Dip Stick, Primed Oil Filter and Short Motor can go in.
HALF DONE
3;
Bolt up Bellhousing, Engine Mounts, Fit Starter Motor, Sit Extractors in position, Mount Heads and Step torque Head Bolts Down.
4;
Fit spark plugs and bolt up extractors (decided against getting them HPC coated, thinking of 4 inot 1s), Fit lifters, pushrods, roller rockers and adjust .030thou and fit rocker covers.
5;
Strip manifold, sandblast, clean, re-assemble and fit. Fit oil pressure switch, thermostat, dizzy, fan/pulley, belt, shroud, radiator, fuel/water/vacum hoses, wire in new coil wiring, fill with oil and START.
Forgot to mention the fun part, going back in the garage at 10.00pm so i can have it together by tomorrow night for a good wash/cleean and then take it up the mountains.
Ive still got to change the rear uni and fit an aftermarket hold down cup kit before i go anywhere.
If reliable enough i wouldnt mind cruising down to traralgon.
Good to hear Fastback ! Sounds like you are ready to roll So you are going to "run her in" up in the mountains ?? I have always run my engines in up there. Lots of low to mid RPM with a heap of load to bed everything in good and proper.... Watch the temperature and you will have one awsome engine !!! I'd love to hear it when its run in !
Good luck mate

Spent four hours this morning running around, dropped off rims to be widened for drag slicks, sandblasted manifold and waterpump, purchased oil. filters and stuff and best news of the day i purchased a factory (my new home) 172sqm factory on 650sqm block.
After all that i got back onto to the car at 3pm and just finished, short motor is in and underneath is complete (converter,starter etc).
Tomorrow should get a full day on it, ill keep you posted.
You'll have to post some pictures of the Factory once it is set up as your home !

Whats left, adjust troller rockers,fit rocker covers, clean, re-assemble manifold and fit, fit radiator, dizzy, fit up wiring and hoses, fill with Valvoline running in oil( prime filter and oil galleries) fill with water.
Remove plugs, crank engine for oil pressure and to fill fuel bowls.
refit plugs and proceed to start.
Refit bonnet hinges/bonnet.
I have seen some(hoists) from time to time in the trading post(but never when I had money).
20 square factory sounds C O O L should make a great home/garage .I have seen some really neat things done with mezanine floors in wherehouse conversions to give heaps of useable space or storage
