help needed, decided to go for a new set of pistons due to piston to bore clearance being exessive on other cylinders.

Cant buy pistons till 2nd week in January from normal suppliers.

Hoping you guys know somewhere/one who might have them in stock.

Ive tried Chris at Speed-pro, super plus and eagle.

Part No; P FO- 460 DM-8-060 TO SUIT A 460 AT 60 THOU.
RIGHTWAY HYPERTECS.

He has 20 & 40 thou in stock like everyone else. He's got an order comming in from the US next week so he's gunna get me a price to have them thrown in with that as well.

Sorry Fastback. I didn't have any luck with my contact. His supplier couldn't find any in Australia. Let us know how you go with krankieone's suggestions !

Summit are really good. I have used them twice. Any of the distributors in the US are pretty good. I have used Summit, Bob Utler Ford, Mac Performance and Steeda. I prefer to use the phone rather than the internet. The shipping is usually more expensive than the part ! They can have it here for ya in a week... I have a Summit catalogue at home if you need one.

Parts are cheap at the moment. VISA card is giving almost 57 cents to the US dollar

I'll call a few places and see what I can find........

Update
Ok, I rang everyone I know and managed to find some close to what you want....

Parts r Us in Preston has some "Dome" topped Hyper Tec's which are a High Compression Piston.
They want $385 for them. You could actually have the domes removed and make them flat top ??? (Shave them down....)

Kranki= Heaps of people stock +30 & +40 but no one stock +60 as its not a common practice.

All is well Glenn at Sleeba Found me a set of lumpy tops on Thursday which he will trim down to suit.

Last week was a good one for me as pistons were found and my datsun was ready to be picked 160kw at the wheels .
