Sometime after lunch we were sitting down opening presents when a brown paper parcel was produced from under the tree when opened it revealed 3 small parcels annd a note:smelly soap for my wife ,dolls stuff for my daughter ,my son received a model of the James Bond Mach 1(I'm not sure how impressed he was.In a 5 year old eyes it probably doesnt stack up to well against the spiderman web shooter he had recieved minuites earlier.)I thaught it was a pretty cool present and was still checking it out when I was given the note" Your present will arrive shortly ." My brain slowly kicked into gear then my imagination into overdrive undoubtedly fueled by an exess of christmas spirit(s) my eyes flicked back to the model I was still holding as the rumble of a V8 could be heard coming down the street.Unfortunatly I was snaped back into reality "This is from your sister" and was handed a bottle of red .I'll just have to hope that I can have a turn with the mach 1 when we next play cars.

I was thinking the same thing as Fastback ! I thought Krankie got a Mach 1 for Christmas ! Krankie you almost got a PM saying, "WHATS YOUR ADDRESS, I'M COMMING OVER"
I love Bunning..... Spent 3 hours in the Power Tool section last time I was there !
Sounds like you had a good Christmas, Krankie... Pitty there was no Mach 1 under the tree. You've gotta love Bullit though Hey Fastback, did you get any Pony parts in your Santa sack ??????
PS : Autobarn and Super Cheap Autos have 20% off if you need anything !

No unfortunately, im still waiting on the pistons, should arrive here 2-3 week in Jan. The only thing ive done is pick up the heads after they got a clean and reseat. As soon as i progress i will update the forum.
Ive got an XD ESP (silver, 351, auto) which has been sitting under the carport for 12 months, my plan during my break is to bring it back to life and register it.

Unfortunately any of the aus built V8s after about 77-80 were de-tuned for pollution reasons ( cam and pollution gear mainly). The best option to get one of these into true sleeper category is to fit a 250 crossflow inline six with a T04 turbo blowing big psi into an intercooler via an LPG system. Its become very popular and most are good for high 10sec passes to low eleven.
The best thing about this set up is the street ability, can you imagine a 500hp cleveland and the headaches it comes with. Dont get me wrong i love my clevelands but know the place for a hipo version.
Looks like a nice clean one.I haven't seen a good one for a while they are getting to that age where a lot of people think they are an old car (and treat them like it ) but not old enough to be collectable.I wouldn't mind one myself if only the shed was a little bigger

Thats a nice clean ESP ! They should be collectable in a few years. Unlike Holden, there are very few Ford special models....
