Well I've finally stoped talking about it (breifly) and started doing it... porting the heads that is.
I decieded to start by removing the bulk of the metal with the carbide burrs and cleen them up later with the taper rolls when I can find them.
I was surprised at how quickly those burrs can remove metal fortunately everything went pretty much acording to plan.

While I was taking photos out in the shed I came across(well I had to move it ) this rack I made to hold all your valve gear in order when you strip the heads. I saw one a while ago the bloke had paid about $80.00 for it mine not as pretty was made in under an hour form scrap lieing around the shed.If anyone is interested I will sketch up a plan for it

Scott may be 20 hours of work if I dont go overboard But it will be done over a month or so I try not to do too much in one hit and I haven't chosen an inlet manifold yet so I'll wait untill I get it to port match rather than gasket match .
