All Brenspeed Stages Of Saleens in Stock Free Shipping
Thought this would be a good area to start a thread on our Saleen packages. We keep all the Brenspeed staged kits in stock and they have free shipping. Power levels from 470 HP to well over 540 HP are available and all Brenspeed staged kits have a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on the supercharger as long as you are running a Brenspeed calibration. Here is a link to the Saleen supercharger area of Brenspeed.com and our Saleen information area that has a few Saleen related videos. We also offer professional installation at our facility starting at $650. If you have any questions don't hesitate to let us know. THANKS
We do not have any immediate plans of carrying the e-force. Edelbrock approached us at least 6 months ago but honestly right now we do not plan on stocking them. We have several AWESOME turn key supercharger packages. The E-force in my opinion does not bring anything new to the table. After selling literally hundreds of each power adder package we have and installing them on a weekly basis it honestly starts to get confusing to customers when you offer endless options. Our Saleen packages are in stock and can take you from 12’s to as fast as 10’s. The quality is second to none and the install price is very fair. Our Paxton/Vortech packages can take you from 12’s to 10’s as well depending on the level of package that you are interested in. Our Hellion Turbo package again is a turbo that can bolt on 12’s and has enough boost capability to go 10’s. Because the Saleen is 2.3L and the Techco is 3.0L we have brought them on as well to support the customers that have big plans for 10 second cars in the future.
We have never tried to carry every product on the market but carry solid products that have proven themselves to us time and time again. When they cause us issues they are removed from the Brenspeed line up of performance parts. If they offer nothing new it is likely they don’t make the line up.
Again you never know what tomorrow brings but as of today we do not plan on stocking the E-force. It is dangerous “jumping” on a band wagon when a new product is released and in my opinion when it has nothing over something that has proven itself time and time again on hundreds of cars. That is another thing… think about all the cars we have tuned and all of the customers that are running our packages with all sorts of combinations of parts all over the world. The Brenspeed custom tunes are so refined you can approach us with about any combo of parts and we have a tune ready for it no matter where you live. It makes your mustang build up experience much more enjoyable knowing you are buying something that we use daily and have used daily for a long long time. Hope that makes sense.

SCT's, Exhaust, Shifters, more! All in stock!
I purchased from you guys last fall the Steeda CAI package /w carbon fiber elbow along with SCT scanner and your tunes for on 2008 GT. Car runs great!
Question, Will any of the Saleen Supercharges, Stages 1,2 or 3 allow me to reuse my current Steeda CAI?
I am considering a supercharger add over the next six to nine months , and so far I have been leaning toward the Saleen for it smaller, cleaner look under the hood. I know someone who has installed a stage3 and he getting something like 10lbs of boost and with stock gears ran high 11's last week without a problem. No other major adds except a little exhaust work on his 2008 GT. That’s sweet.
So, can I reuse my CAI?
Thanks

I have a Saleen and use the Steeda CAI with CF Elbow with a Brenspeed Tune. 430rwhp with a 3.6 pulley
I guess all of the talk about the E-Force putting down impressive numbers at a lower PSI and in turn making it easier on stock internals is what got my attention about that set up. 460-480 rwhp at 7 psi just sounds like a good safe all around package to me.

NICE PIC! You answered that for me. Yes you can re-use your Steeda. Typically we use a rubber inlet but looks like your Steeda inlet is working great for you. Also yes it is very easy to go 11's with our Saleen package jump into our Stage 3 and that will put you at the power level you need to go 11's with a very safe tune. Tires Required!
Also in my opinion all the "less boost more power" is a lot of marketing. Power can simply come down to how aggressive the tune is as well as a lot of other factors. E-brock rates it at 466 hp at 5 psi. Again it is a rating and like all manufacturer marketing and ratings they are just that... marketing. Some manufacturers are pretty good about how they advertise and others are not. We count on our experience to tell the tale of how something works and that is why we have a nice selection of power adder products that work awesome and produce great results.

I wanted to ask a couple questions on this, but I am afraid it might sound like I am bashing you guys.. If you don't like my post, I will edit it out, I have nothing against you, and in fact bought some of my mods from you...
Isn't Saleen now defunct as a company? I realize that some of the engineers formed Techco, but it's still a different company. Why purchase a product who's manufacturer is gone?
As far as Techco, you said you wouldn't jump on a new product, but Techco is very new, as is 100% of their manufacturing process, so despite their engineers, they are completely unproven. Shouldn't we take your advice about the E-Force and avoid the Techco product too?
Edelbrock's E-Force may be new, but the company has been around a long time, is well proven as a stand up company, and the E-Force is using internals made by Eaton, who has been building superchargers since the beginning of time.. Yeah, they are marketing their efficiency, and so far they have the numbers to back it up.. that isn't to say that Techco or the older designs like Saleen, Whipple, and Kenne Bell aren't able to back their product up with good numbers, but come on...
Vortech and Paxton appear to be virtually the same product, although I don't know enough of the industry to know the difference in the two. And it doesn't look like you are doing Roush stuff any more, which is fine since their roots style is inefficient and outdated anyway..
That really leaves you with 3 choices for superchargers, the centri, the defunct Saleen, or the untested Techco. I would hardly say that's too large a variety..
I understand the sales side of it though, you pick who you want to back and support the hell out of them. Personally, I would have bought an E-Force 2 months ago from you if you had carried it. I have not purchased yet, and I am not planning either the E-Force or any of the ones you carry, and I have my reasons, but by limiting your selection, you have limited your customer base.
Great deal on the Saleens though! If it weren't for the company's situation, I would still be considering them..

Good Questions. You need to ask lots before puttin down good money.
The E-Force at 460hp is flywheel, my flywheel hp would be around 500 and the 3.6 pulley is about 7 to 8 psi. I believe Brenspeed will warrenty the Saleen for 1 year if you use their tune. Mr Steve Saleen has started a different company thats called SMS I believe and has say he will honor all warrenties from Saleen.
My Saleen SC has been on for 1 1/2 (10,000 miles) years with no problems and runs great. But yes ask all the questions you can to decide what will make you happy.
KlrStng, I agree with what you are asking Brenspeed. I had similar thoughts to the response that Brian gave. I understand that taking a chance on new technology can be a risk but isn't a bit close minded to rule out a companies product before doing some good old testing on it, especially if you are a company that has the means to do so and then form an opinion on its performance. It is true that the E-Force is comprised of components produced by companies that have a tried and true reputation in the business, which is why I think it deserves a little faith. I guess at the moment I am sitting the fence on the E-Force and the Super Shaker(I already have the CDC shaker). I do not want to come out of pocket for a new hood, which is why I am considering the Super Shaker. I plan to get some more info on all of this before pulling the trigger!
Regarding Saleen: Maybe this will clear it up. Saleen is stronger today than it has been over the last 2 years. In February it was purchased by a company out of Michigan. It is a company with an automotive background not an investment firm which is who owned it before. We have product shipped in every week and despite what confusion the internet has to offer Saleen is going strong. Stronger than before from the performance aftermarket stand point.
Regarding the “variety” of superchargers: Believe me we don’t want to be closed minded and are not trying to appear closed minded. We only have so many cars, time, and space to allocate to package development and to product inventory. I believe my first sentence in the reply above mentioned “no immediate plans”. This simply means today we do not have plans of stocking the e-force but like I also said above “you never know what tomorrow brings”. Also keep in mind because we don’t stock something does not mean we do not install it or tune it. We do understand sometimes a person wants a specific item. That is great and we will taylor to your needs. For example we ran a Whipple on one of our cars for a long time. We tune Whipple, we install Whipples, we don’t stock Whipples. There are two major reasons we brought on Techco. The first is it is a 3.0L supercharger vs everybody else is a 2.3L for the most part. Second it was designed by the same group of people that designed the Saleen which is an awesome blower. Several of our Saleen friends work at Techco and we have a good working relationship with them. We have a Techco on one of our shop cars also.
Yes we know limiting selections unfortunately limits the customer base. You are correct this does prevent some customers from buying a power adder from us and believe me we want to meet your needs. The great thing about Saleen is the package is so proven on so many installs. The quality is great, we same day ship them, and make killer power with them. Another benefit is we can change to any boost pulley and include our tune and the blower will still have its 12 month 12,000 mile warranty. Maybe we should give the e-force a second look because maybe there are a lot more people out there like yourself that only want the e-force. Time will tell…. And no offense taken thanks for the comments!
