Angry Shipping to Italy - Misunderstanding

I am sure it could be useful for other people from the us and outside the us...I contact Brenspeed as suggested from a lot of people on this forum for buying some stuff for my car.
I wait they send me the package with the tracking number until yesterday,when mr Brian Lichlyter has the beautiful idea to send an international shipping with the united postal service,when i asked in a lot of mails to use UPS or DHL with insurance and tracking number..the united postal service outside the us,it's terrible...lost & damaged packages,stolen packages...
.So i have spent 640 euros for some stuff i am not sure i can see..thank you very much Brenspeed!!!It's a good way of work..:n ono:

Be sure you contact Brenspeed & get the whole story before posting anything derogatory on here. It has happened to more than one member on here that has posted negatively about a vendor and it comes to light that the vendor was not given every opportunity by the complainant or the "facts" were one sided & the member ended up looking pretty silly.

I have had purchased several items from Brenspeed with no issues, very happy with their service. I have also recently purchased several parts via ebay internationally and they all were shipped USPS. No issues, took about 2 weeks to receive. I assume you paid by credit card, if your parts don't show, call and dispute charges. You shouldn't attempt to flame Brenspeed until you have either not received your parts or at least contacted them FIRST with your complaints to see if they help rectify your concerns.

I have sold many items on ebay to international buyers in the last 8 years and have never had a problem with USPS. Currently the USPS has a tracking system for international deliveries and the service is far less expensive and much simpler.
I recently sold a set of 05 leather seat covers to a gentleman in Germany and it cost $95.00 US to ship via USPS. The exact same package would have been $280 for UPS and $290 for DHL.
Now if you requested and were willing to pay the absurd shipping charges on the items then I would understand why you are upset but do not trash a good honest bussiness for a problem that has not occured.

Remember, once the USPS gets it to the receiving country, the item is in your government's postal system's care, custody and control.

I think the problem is in italy...our postal servie is horrible..i speak with brian and we solved.Please delete the post.I was too much angry for writing.thanks a lot

FabryFibra, I guess we must have had a misunderstanding when we started this process. The only way we can ship affordability outside of the United States is to do it USPS. They do not offer a tracking number but if anything is to ever happen to your packages, we will be more than happy to get you taken care of. We love performance parts just as much as you do, that is why we are in this business. We ship packages all over the world with USPS and have yet to have a problem. I would like to assure you again that if anything happens to your product we will take care of you.

P.S. I included a windshield banner and stickers for your birthday.

Amen! You are prophetic.

The USPS is by far the least expensive method of shipping internationally. Their service is no more risky than UPS or FedEx. Shipping outside the US by UPS or Fedx is expensive and problematic. These companies do not collect the customs duties directly; they have a broker send an invoice to the customer. If that customer fails to pay the invoice, they will then bill the shippers account for these charges.

I was flicking through threads when I saw this

it reminded me of children and the wanting to immediately vent against someone on facebook and tell the world of THIER problem

these always come back with the words
.....egg on face

always always try to resolve,discuss and even then try again before posting on a forum about a situation that has not had the opportunity to resolve the situation, as to posting about a supplier when you haven't even spoken to the supplier makes the poster look a bit foolish

I'm glad to see it was resolved however and perhaps a lesson learn't?

Anch'io vivo in italia (vicino Milano) 3-4 mesi per anni circa, ma sono americano. Mia moglie e' Italiana. Forse possiamo traslocare in Italia... con la nostra Mustang! Hai trovatto difficile portare la tua Mustang in Italia con governo e burocrazia?
