Default Brenspeeds family vehicle!!! (Saleen Mountaineer!!!)

If you have a big family, don't like to take more than two in your mustang, or like to spank Z28's, Firebirds, and Vettes while driving your SUV, this vehicle is for you. We have done several of these conversions on Sport Tracks, Explorers, and Mountaineers.

Our 500 hp equiped Saleen Mountaineer is a street monster and loves to eat unsuspecting Chevys. It runs mid 13's and does a mean burnout when the front drive shaft is removed.

In addition to the increased power, MPG increased after the install. Its always a crowd favorite at the track after the first pass. Up next for this monster is a BAP and you guessed it, more power.

We also won the burnout contest with it last year in Bowling Green, KY.

Is there a lowering kit available? Wider tires? I'm just afraid that thing will roll over if it goes sideways a bit (and I bet it would) then our next ride would be an EMS unit.

That is nice power for that SUV. This would be great for my wifes Expedition. That thing is a gutless wonder and really sucks gas. It has the 5.4 liter so not sure if this is possible.

It is actually very stable. I have never felt unsafe at the track or even on the freeway with it. Brent was going to get new rims and tires for it but the new building and the 2010 GT took over.

Yea, it is an absolute blast to destroy a sports car or a SRT8/Trailblazer SS with a Mountaineer. Thats why we do it all the time.

Yes, it sound unreal in person. Almost like a jet at WOT with the Magnaflow exhaust. It about blows ear drumbs but is quite for normal driving.

Just out of curiosity. How much would something like that cost? I'd LOVE to do that to my wife's Explorer! I think she would enjoy it too!

The Saleen Explorer/Mountaineer kit costs $8000.00 and is a in house turn key kit. This includes the cost of the blower, extra parts to turn it into a mustang under the hood, labor, and tuning. Not to mention your stay is always free in our guest house. With the increased gas milage, our kit has paid for its self.
