Mustang 5.0L tranny

Hey guys I'm new to the site. I was wondering if any of you know where to get a *affordable* 5 speed tranny for a 5.0L mustang. Some of the junk yards are asking like $1,000 which seems rather high for something like that.

my cousin has about 5 tranny's manuals all rebuilt, some are from the 4cyl, some from the 5.0L
i'm pretty sure you can swap the 4cyl tranny onto the car

where are you? i can get you one from a wrecker for around $500 and no a 2.3l trans will not fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
