I could get one for that out here easy. A 5.0L should go for $1500 good condition with harness and computer

I will take a look. I just picked myself up a 1981 2.3 stang for 400$ in Edmonton. 70,000 clicks and absolutely NO rust in immaculate condition. There are a ton of really old people that are not driving them anymore here so I will keep my eyes peeled for you. For 4 - 800$ Im sure it would be worth the trip for ya.
I know this won't help in your search, but a friend of mine was just transfered out to Ont. this past summer and sold his 87 or 88 (can't remember exact yr) LX 5.0 that was in real decent shape for $2000. So they're around, just keep looking and you'll find one eventually I'm sure. In the mean time I'll keep an ear to the ground and if I hear of anything I'll let you know.
P.S. I know we're not talking about $3500 here, but there's a red 92 GT 5L with under 40K in just about new like condition (hasn't been driven in years) for sale a block from my house. He was asking $10000 this summer, might be able to get it cheaper now. Only 2hrs or less from Winnipeg.
