If anyone has done this what procedures are necessary if car is pre 1990? I am contemplating such a move but hesitate because of Unknown/Customs. By the way I've sold my cuda and my daily driver is a "built" 85 GT and have a bracket Maverick for the track.......Paul

Hi Paul, http://www.riv.ca/english/html/how_to_import.html will tell you all that you need to know about importing any car/truck into our wonderful country as well as everything that you would need to do to it ie. emmissions, day time running lights and so on. i hope this helps you out. Kelvin

Hey Paul, agree with Kelvin on checking the web site.
I brought my 66 FB up from the states through Port Angeles. I faxed them a copy of the ownership a few days prior to the car getting there, and also called them to give them a heads up.
When we got to the border here in Vic I paid the GST and that was that. Then had it inspected, out of prov inspection, then insured it.
